About the Role
Ensure full compliance with company, safety, and regulatory policies.
Conduct inspection and tagging of scaffolding structures — issue Green Tag for safe use or Red Tag if unsafe.
Verify and ensure all scaffolding components meet BS1139 and MS1462 standards before approval.
Prepare and maintain scaffolding sketches, checklists, and inspection reports.
Supervise and provide guidance to scaffolders during erection and dismantling activities.
Collaborate with management, safety personnel, and clients to ensure compliance with DOSH requirements.
Assist in conducting Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
Maintain a safe work environment and ensure scaffolders always follow safety procedures.
Requirements
Minimum SPM or Diploma in a related field, with relevant working experience.
Must hold a valid CIDB card and Level 3 Scaffolding Certification (or equivalent).
Registration with DOSH is an added advantage.
Proven experience as a Scaffolding Inspector or similar role.
Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
Ability to read drawings, understanding work requirements, and prepare accurate reports.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and daily reporting tasks.
Highly responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
Must possess own transport and be willing to travel to various project sites.
