About the Role
Ensure full compliance with company, safety, and regulatory policies.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify and rectify unsafe acts, conditions, and potential hazards.
Assist the Safety and Health Officer/Project Manager in implementing safety measures and monitoring site compliance.
Lead or participate in HIRARC assessments, Safety Walkabouts, and Emergency Response Team activities.
Investigate and report all accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, ensuring timely corrective actions.
Liaise with the Safety and Health Committee to ensure all safety measures are effective and compliant with legal standards.
Prepare and submit daily/monthly safety reports to management and support the company’s Zero Accident goal.
Promote a strong safety culture through awareness, training, and consistent enforcement of safe work practices.
Requirements
Minimum SPM / Diploma or equivalent relevant experience.
Candidates with a valid DOSH Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book) or OSH Coordinator certification will have an added advantage.
Proven experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or similar HSE role.
Strong understanding of safety legislation, risk assessment, and incident investigation processes.
Excellent communication, coordination, and report-writing skills
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and reporting systems.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and responsible with strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Must possess own transport and be willing to travel to various project sites.
